Feedback on new extension manager

12. December 2007 by Team 6 Comments

Just before the release of BlogEngine.NET 1.3 we want to add an extension manager. It allows you to change settings and enable/disable the different extensions available. It's really cool and very useful, but we need your feedback on how to do it most optimal.

If you have any ideas in that regard, please comment on Ruslan's blog post about the subject. We really want to nail this feature. Thank you for your time.

Hi - I just wanted to say that your blog software is really nice. I consider myself a web-dev novice in every sense of the word. I was able to get Blog Engine running in visual web developer 2008 express and even modify one of the included themes to fit my needs.

I will be greatly looking forward to the extension manager. That was my only complaint, aside from commenting out code and visble="false" there was no real way to display only certain features in the side bar.

Anyhoo, I really look forward to 1.3=] Keep up the great work! Happy Holidays!!!
